It appears that the Lyonheart K Coupé is making waves again. Originally conceptualised way back in 2012 (ish), there's been a resurgence of interest in the idea of a modern-day Jaguar E-type. As far as we understand, and according to Wikipedia, there hasn't been more than just these computer-generated renderings of this stunning concept since 2015.
Nevertheless, the 1960s Jaguar E-type is a classic that transcends generations. Its sleek and beautifully crafted body is simply sublime. It is here that British-automaker, Lyonheart, has created their own modern variant of Jaguar's inspiring automobile.
Robert Palm developed the Lyonheart ‘K’ Sport Coupe in his Swiss design studio, Classic Factory. It was engineered and hand-built in Coventry, UK, by the Envisage Group, and limited to just 250 cars. The refined and classy ‘Lyonheart K’ features carbon fibre panels, an aluminium chassis, and a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged Cosworth-tuned engine pushing out 567hp and 516 ft-lb (700 Nm) of torque. With all this power, the ‘K’ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and hits a speed-limited 300 km/h (186 mph).
It all sounds amazing, so now it's up to them to get it done. Check out one of the original videos below and let us know what you think in the comments.
