THE 2019 JAGUAR I-PACE IS LOOKING INCREDIBLE!

With the debut of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace, the British luxury automaker has introduced a new electric vehicle (EV) architecture that can be used for future EV models wearing both Jaguar and Land Rover nameplates.

This all-new fully electric SUV from Jaguar packs 394bhp, all-wheel drive, more than enough space for 5 people and will get you from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds. And offers an acceptable range of 400km.

Jaguar says that the production version of the 2019 I-Pace is essentially the same as the concept vehicle that previewed the new model.

Thanks to its space-saving electric vehicle platform, the I-Pace features a short hood and available wheels sized up to 22 inches in diameter pushed out to each corner. The roofline is fast, wrapped into a rounded rear window that sharply contrasts with the vehicle’s sharpened body corners, which help to maximise aerodynamic efficiency, Jaguar says.

They also say the I-Pace boasts a 0.29 coefficient of drag, helped in part by active grille shutters and a standard air suspension that lowers the vehicle nearly half an inch at speeds over 100km/h.

A standard panoramic glass roof bathes the 5-passenger cabin in natural light, making it feel more spacious than it already is. Jaguar says that despite the I-Pace’s official EPA midsize classification, the interior is larger than expected in terms of occupant space.

Passengers enjoy standard leatherette seating, with two grades of real leather available as an option. Ecologically responsible buyers can also select a premium textile material composed of a wool blend and recycled manufactured suede cloth. Front performance seating is available as an option.

The driver and front passenger face a dashboard trimmed in gloss black, machined aluminium, or gloss grey woodgrain panels.

As is expected in a modern luxury EV, the Jaguar I-Pace is loaded with technology.

Starting with the standard InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, it comes with two high-resolution touch-screen displays to help the driver to manage myriad vehicle functions. Connect Pro service includes a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and an InControl Remote smartphone app is also compatible with smartwatches.

Navigation is included, as well as Smart Settings technology powered by artificial intelligence that can predict how you want the vehicle set up based on the key fob, your smartphone signal, the time of day, the vehicle’s location, weather conditions, and past history of vehicle use. The dual-screen infotainment system is supplemented by a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation display and an available head-up display.

Additional technology features include Activity Key, which allows you to leave the key fob secured within the I-Pace during exercise and lock/unlock the SUV using a special wristband, and Park Assist, which is a semi-autonomous parking-assistance feature.
