1976 VOLKSWAGEN BUS IS A 'BACK TO THE FUTURE' TIME MACHINE

This 1976 Volkswagen bus has been completely revamped to pay homage to Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown the famous and familiar film franchise, Back To The Future.

The Volkswagen is currently on sale in Nashville and this Back To The Future van features a 'working' flux capacitor – described by Doc as "what makes time travel possible" – and an accurate recreation of the time machine from the original film. Perhaps the most dramatic changes are the driver and passengers' doors that are custom-built gull-wing doors, sliding open in the air just like the movie's infamous DeLorean.

The Volkswagen is on sale through Velocitymc by Brian Wallin, and the 'Back To The Future' 1976 styled bus is restored both inside and out. A yellow and orange colour palette are featured across rear passenger seats, which also enjoy a screen to view movies and a grey paint job to reflect the DeLorean's unpainted stainless steel body panels.

Quirky technological details are hidden throughout the vehicle, adding to the stylistic cues sourced from the film.
