Look, we all know that BRABUS doesn’t do subtle. And when it decides to base one of its Masterpiece builds on a Lamborghini for the very first time, the results could go either way, but the results of this build are pretty damn boss. Meet the BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK. A super-SUV born from the Lamborghini Urus SE and reimagined through BRABUS’ unmistakable lens of excess and precision. This is a landmark car for the German tuning powerhouse, fusing the perfection of Sant’Agata Bolognese with BRABUS’ Black & Bold design philosophy in a way we’ve never seen before.
The result is an SUV that trades colour for contrast, smooth style for menace, and restraint for presence. Finished entirely in black, the BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK wears the exclusive WIDESTAR body concept, which stretches the Urus SE’s already aggressive proportions even further, with every newly developed exterior component crafted in exposed carbon fibre. High-gloss or matte finishes are available, but either way, the effect is unmistakable. This thing looks like it was carved from a shadow. Up front, the exposed carbon BRABUS fascia sharpens the face dramatically. Enlarged air intakes emphasise width while feeding cooling air more efficiently to the brakes and radiators. An integrated carbon front spoiler doesn’t just look the part; it actively increases downforce for improved high-speed stability. Extended carbon WIDESTAR wheel arches front and rear give the SUPERBLACK its hulking stance, while the rear is finished with an exposed carbon spoiler attachment and a BRABUS diffuser featuring vertical aero fins and four integrated BRABUS tailpipes.
Power comes from a sophisticated hybrid setup that takes the Urus SE into genuinely wild territory. At its core is the BRABUS PowerXtra LG40-900 upgrade for the 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, precisely calibrated to work seamlessly with the factory hybrid system. The electric motor housed within the 8-speed automatic transmission remains unchanged, but together the system delivers a colossal 662 kW and 1,050 Nm of torque. Performance figures are exactly as outrageous as you’d expect. The BRABUS 900 SUPERBLACK rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with top speed electronically capped at 312 km/h. Yes, in an SUV. Putting that power to the ground are 24-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z Platinum Edition forged wheels, developed specifically for the Urus SE. Featuring a bold ten-spoke design with centrelock-style hub covers, they combine visual drama with serious engineering. Advanced forging techniques and CNC machining ensure exceptional strength while keeping weight in check. Wrapped around them are high-performance tyres measuring 295/30 ZR 24 at the front and a colossal 345/25 ZR 24 at the rear, delivering immense grip and sharpened steering response. The BRABUS SportXtra suspension module lowers the ride height by up to 20 mm, dropping the centre of gravity and giving the SUPERBLACK a more planted, agile feel without sacrificing everyday usability.
Inside, the BRABUS Masterpiece treatment continues with ruthless consistency. The cabin is deliberately monochrome, allowing materials, textures and craftsmanship to take centre stage. Breathable black BRABUS leather and Alcantara microfiber dominate, creating an atmosphere that feels both athletic and deeply luxurious. The signature BRABUS Ellipse quilting pattern flows across the seats, footwells and even the luggage compartment, visually tying the entire interior together. Select perforated surfaces and subtle embossed Double-B logos underline the exclusivity without tipping into excess. Exposed carbon fibre elements dominate the cockpit, reinforcing the motorsport-inspired aesthetic, while high-grade aluminium pedals, footrest and illuminated BRABUS entry panels add the final tactile touches.
