CHRIS HARRIS ON THE NEW FERRARI PUROSANGUE SUV

This is Chris Harris's view on the new SUV that Ferrari is going to be making, which they're calling the Ferrari Purosangue.

Ferrari has decided to enter the SUV market and compete with the Lamborghini Urus. The Maranello firm will release their SUV, called the Ferrari Purosangue, next year, and will have the first lot available by early 2022.

Top Gear co-presenter and motoring journalist Chris Harris explains his two views on Ferrari making an SUV.

He continued to explain that he doesn't see the appeal of owning an SUV made by exotic car companies such as Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley and Ferrari, and that you might as well walk around in public shouting "hate me". But, he also said that this isn't the first time Ferrari has done something like this. Enzo Ferrari made road-going cars to fund his racing teams and, if Ferrari needs to make more money by entering the SUV market with the Purosangue, then so be it, it might work in their favour.
