DELOREAN TO MAKE A BRAND NEW ELECTRIC SPORTS CAR IN 2022 THAT FEATURES SIMILAR LOOKS TO THE DMC-12

The Delorean Motor Company has confirmed that it will be bringing back the iconic DMC-12 as a modern electric car sometime in 2022.

At the launch of the original Delorean DMC-12, the car actually did very badly. They were completely underpowered, unreliable and rather expensive for what it was. However, as time went on, the original Delorean DMC-12 started to grow a cult following largely thanks to the Back To The Future sci-fi movie trilogy. It was so impressive that even aftermarket companies started manufacturing spare parts for restorations once again.

However, recently the Delorean Motor Company released a social media post that claimed that they were reintroducing the iconic Delorean as a refreshed, modern electric vehicle that shares similar characteristics as the original DMC-12 together with gullwing doors!

The post also suggested that we can expect an official unveiling of the new electric car sometime in 2022!
