JUICED - THE RACING GAME THAT WAS SO CLOSE TO BEING PERFECT, YET SUCKED!

So the year is 2005, the latest videogame console is still the Sony Playstation 2 and the best racing games were the latest Need For Speed which was the original Most Wanted and Grand Tourismo 4. But in the mix of all those amazing games came a random game called Juiced that featured an RX8 with flames on the side, so well composed that you just had to pick up the game in the store and at least have a closer look at the box.

Juiced focused on racing, for sure, but it was rather strange in the sense that you had to work by a race calendar, and fair enough, but there was no such thing as restarting a race that actually made it that much more intense!

The graphics were not bad either, better than most racing games at the time, but the nitrous oxide was a bit over-exaggerated, the car customisation was very limited as was the car selection.

The biggest letdown of the game was the racing physics that were unnecessarily hard and could have been way better.
