SXDRV JOINS CARS, COFFEE & DONUTS AT SANDTON CITY FOR SOME PETROLHEAD FUN

A long-awaited time has come and gone – but it was totally worth it!

Big thanks to the organisers – Race Warz Official, and the various sponsors for making this incredible meet on on 20 May 2018 come together.

From the Facebook advert for the event on the Sandton City rooftop this past Sunday (20th May 2018), you could already see by the number of interest it got that this one was going to be a big turnout. Around 8am cars started flooding in, and didn't stop! Various car clubs joined in the fun, and some incredibly rare sites too, from an all-wheel-drive VW Combi with a Porsche engine to classic Jaguars and modern supercars too.

Race joined and had some of their top cars on display, my personal favourite being their Liberty Walk R35 GTR. Right next to Race's stand you found Road to Race with their impressive, heavily-modified Ford Rangers on show. The Daytona Group also was present and had some of their finest imports showcased. Our friends at Speed and Sound magazine had a stand. Michelin South Africa too was a sponsor at the event... to name but a few.

As for the main display, hundreds of petrolheads joined in to showcase their pride, passion and joy. Such diversity in taste and brands always make for an amazing show.
