THE LATEST DISCUSSIONS AROUND SYNTHETIC FUELS - DOES IT STAND A CHANCE WITH ELECTRIC ALTERNATIVES?

With more and more governments putting a deadline in place to ban the sales of new internal combustion engines by the end of the decade, what hope is there for those who love fuel engines?

We got a glimmer of hope from Porsche a year or so ago as they announced that they will be researching and developing synthetic fuels, however, the latest reports claim that they are only doing that in order to keep their racing series' alive.

The fact of the matter is that synthetic fuels are not necessarily better for the environment in terms of pollution, but rather the method from how they are made does which makes it in theory more sustainable, but the process requires vasts amounts of energy to do so which is why the future of electric cars is ultimately the better solution.
