THE LATEST INCARNATION OF THE MASERATI GRECALE IS THE TRIBUTO IL BRUCIATO – AN ITALIAN MASTERPIECE ON WHEELS

Maserati crafts experiences, and the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is the latest proof, a limited-edition celebration of Italian craftsmanship, design, and heritage, born from the collaboration with one of the oldest wine-making dynasties in the world: Marchesi Antinori. This special Grecale is a rolling tribute to Italy, the Tuscan coast, and the iconic Bolgheri wine label, Il Bruciato. Just as a fine wine embodies place, character, and care, so too does this SUV embody Maserati’s blend of performance, elegance, and unmistakable style. The first thing that hits you is the bodywork, painted in Alchimia Scarlatta, a shade inspired by wine in motion. Maserati’s Fuoriserie team employed a Chromaflair pigment to give the paint its multi-layered depth - a burgundy base with coppery gold and dark raspberry highlights. From different angles, the Grecale almost seems to shift colour, capturing the light like a glass of Il Bruciato catching the sun. Muscular stance? Check. The SUV rolls on either Pegaso Forgiati or Crio Fuoriserie 21-inch wheels, rear-oversized for grip and presence, finished in gloss black if you opt for the extra drama. Even the brake callipers echo the bespoke nature of the car, subtly branded and painted to match.

Inside, the cabin continues the theme of Italian refinement. Tan and dark red leather, stitched tone-on-tone, features ribbed “cannelloni” details, while the headrests carry the Trident logo in dark red. Every surface, every curve is designed to make driving - or simply riding - a sensual experience. The 14-speaker Sonus faber audio system and panoramic sunroof ensure that every note, every ray of sunlight, is enjoyed in style. Maserati’s goal? A journey that mirrors sipping a great Tuscan wine: rich, nuanced, and utterly memorable.

The Tributo Il Bruciato is steeped in story. Bolgheri, the birthplace of the wine, is a place where light, wind, and vine shape the land — and Maserati has translated that feeling into metal and leather. Launched in 2002, Il Bruciato is a wine of intense, self-assured personality, created in a challenging year but crafted to bring pleasure and elegance to everyday life. That philosophy is mirrored in this Grecale: a car that makes every journey feel exceptional.

Giovanni Perosino, Maserati Chief Marketing and Communication Officer, puts it like this: “Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is the upshot of an exclusive project that revolves around Maserati’s essence as the epitome of Italian luxury. Produced for the few, almost tailor-made, inspired by tradition, innovation and artisanship 100% made in Italy. Every curve tells a story, and every journey becomes an experience.”

Renzo Cotarella, CEO of Marchesi Antinori, echoes the sentiment: “As with a great car, what matters is not only technical perfection but the ability to make the everyday exceptional, combining identity, elegance and pleasure. The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is a tribute to this essence and to the Bolgheri area.”

From its multi-dimensional paintwork to its leather-clad, sonically rich interior, the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is a rolling example of Italian know-how, a sensory journey from Tuscany’s vineyards to wherever the open road leads. For those lucky enough to experience it, every drive becomes a celebration - of design, of heritage, and of the art of living well.

Take a look at the YouTube video that shows off the previous special model called the Trofeo, which is pretty much the same as what you see here, but in a different spec. This should give you an idea of how cool these Italian SUVs are, though: Maserati Grecale Trofeo - The Duel | Maserati
