THE NEW DODGE CHARGER SCAT PACK SIXPACK IS THE MOST POWERFUL SEDAN AVAILABLE FOR A LITTLE OVER A MILLION RAND

Dodge is doing what Dodge does best - flexing hard. The brand’s latest shot of adrenaline comes in the form of the new 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, now available in both two- and four-door configurations, each powered by the 550 hp (404 kW)  SIXPACK H.O. twin-turbo inline-six. It’s the most powerful sedan you can buy for under $60,000 (Around R1,050,000), and it doesn’t just bark - it bites. Under the hood sits the high-output 3.0-litre Hurricane SIXPACK - the top dog of the new engine family - pushing out that aforementioned power with 720 Nm of torque. That’s enough grunt to send the Charger Scat Pack from 0-100 km/h in around 4.0 seconds, across the quarter-mile in 12.2 seconds, and on to a 285 km/h top speed. All that power is sent through a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system that can switch to rear-drive mode for proper burnouts and tail-happy antics.

“This is Dodge doing what Dodge does best - building muscle, pushing boundaries, and giving customers real choices,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “With 550 horsepower in a four-door sedan priced under $60K, we’re proving that practicality doesn’t have to be boring - it can burn rubber.”

Visually, the 2026 Charger Scat Pack sticks to Dodge’s modern muscle formula: bold lines, a menacing stance, and proportions that scream power. Both body styles share the same aggressive design language, and inside, it’s all business - leather-and-suede performance seats, a 12.3-inch Uconnect touchscreen, and Carbon & Suede interior trim give the cabin a race-inspired edge.

Every Charger Scat Pack - two or four doors - comes standard with:

  • Launch Control and Line Lock for track-ready starts and smokey burnouts

  • Dual-mode active exhaust for that signature Dodge soundtrack

  • Brembo brakes for serious stopping power

  • Rear-drive mode for when you just need to misbehave

The four-door SIXPACK-powered Charger Scat Pack starts at $56,995 (R998,000), while the two-door version is priced slightly lower at $54,995 (R963,000). Both hit dealerships in early 2026, with production kicking off early in the year. For 2026, Dodge is giving muscle car fans more ways to feed their addiction - whether it’s petrol or electric power.

Charger R/T – 420 hp, starting at $49,995 (R875,000)

Charger Scat Pack (2-door) – 550 hp, starting at $54,995 (R963,000)

Charger Scat Pack (4-door) – 550 hp, starting at $56,995 (R998,000)

Charger Daytona Scat Pack (EV) – 670 hp, starting at $59,995 (R1,050,000)

Each Scat Pack and Daytona Scat Pack includes a complimentary day at the Radford Racing School, the official performance driving school of Dodge//SRT - because if you’re going to own a muscle car this wild, you might as well learn how to tame it. Now if only they’d follow Ford and Corvette’s route and make these in RHD and send some to SA!
