VIDEO: CAN YOU STOP YOUR PORSCHE BY USING IPHONES AS BRAKE PADS?

iPhones used in place of brake pads?  Why would you even do that?  We don’t really know, but these guys went out and tried it!  Not once but several times at different speeds for the sake of a silly experiment.

It turns out iPhones are not good brake pad replacements at all.  They just ruin everything, catch fire, and make the brakes feel weird and spongy at best.  At 60MPH, the iPhones just have no stopping power and turn into metal and plastic shrapnel.  I’m sure you could have guessed that, but it’s still entertaining to watch!

Seems iPhones aren't really good for anything then.
