VIDEO: IS THE 2018 RENAULT MEGANE RS THE NEW TYPE R SLAYER?

The 2018 Renault Megane RS offers four-wheel steering, some awesome new features and more power with the 1.8-litre turbo. So, is it the new Type R Slayer??

After a nostalgic trip down memory lane of all the Renault classic cars, it's time to look at the latest unveiled Megane RS.

To find out more about the details of the design, the exterior designer of the vehicle, Franck Le Gall gives us the breakdown about the Megane RS coming to us in 2018.

The colour of the specific car on display is called "Orange Tonic", and we can see that the front and back fenders are 16mm wider than they were on previous models. The front of the car looks very different, with a fully redesigned front bumper and a much larger Renault badging to represent the pride of the brand.

In addition, two transmissions are, for the first time, available to us: a six-speed manual with three pedals and a stick, or a six-speed EDC automatic with launch control.

There are many more additions – so watch the video to find out what they are!
