VIDEO: PORSCHE 911 R DRIVERS RIP THROUGH A MOUNTAIN WITH SOME HELP FROM A HELICOPTER

Two Porsche fans recently had the time of their lives taking the newly revealed 911 R up a mountainside pass, getting instructions from a very helpful source.

Driving along a stage of the Tour de France Automobile, these two enthusiasts were seated in the new 911 R, a new model that pays homage to the 1976 911 R. Joining them was Patrick Long, a Porsche works driver, who was riding in a helicopter that followed the drivers up the mountain. As they approached corners and exited them, Long was giving them notes like a co-driver would.
