WRC CHAMPION SEBASTIEN OGIER SHOWS MAD SKILLS, DODGING ROWDY COWS DURING A RALLY STAGE!
We all know that it takes a special kind of skill to compete in the World Rally Championship. But, watching Sébastien Ogier expertly dodging rogue cows while travelling at outrageous speeds on a rally stage takes the cake!
During the 2016 Rally Guanajuato México, Sébastien Ogier had to weave like a champion through some unexpected cows crossing the road. As much as his Red Bull Volkswagen Polo R WRC rally car is built like a tank, nobody wants an entire cow as a hood ornament.
These unannounced obstacles sure weren't in his co-driver, Julien Ingrassia's, notes. But decisive actions by the seven-time World Rally Champion saw him artfully dodge the crusading cattle.
Commenting after the stage, Ogier said he experienced "a brief moment of terror". Talk about an understatement. Although, the steely determination on his face never once gave way for fear as he sped past the bewildered bovines.
With nothing more than a "moo", the herd carried on their journey across the road, out of sight and danger from the rest of the racers.
Undeterred after the scare on the first of the morning stages of day two, the duo went on to take second place in the rally for the Volkswagen Motorsport team.
One must wonder if he celebrated the race with a steak!
