ARE AFTERMARKET EXHAUSTS EVEN WORTH IT?

Aftermarket and customs exhausts are a really popular modification to your car but are they even worth it.

The sound of your car plays a big role in the character of your car, and it's even a reflection of who you are and your taste and style. Changing up your exhaust system, if done right, offer two main benefits, one being a far better, more aggressive exhaust note and the other being a boost in your car's performance. Aftermarket exhaust systems won't make your 1.6L Daihatsu sound like a V8 Mustang, nor will it perform like one either, but it all depends on what you are looking for.

Aftermarket exhausts are most definitely worth it, but only if you have decided that you are ready for an exhaust mod. We have seen it over and over again at car meets and shows, a lot of car folk would rather invest in a pricy aftermarket exhaust than sort out other car issues they have first, or installing other mods that would usually be preferable first over an exhaust. If your car's bodywork is all busted up, rolling on stock wheels at factory height, or your paintwork is looking dodgy, rather get that sorted out before getting your screamer-pipe exhaust system. You'd be doing the car community a favour and not make yourself look like a complete "Mark" at the same time.

Take a look at the video below by YouTube channel, Donut Media, as they discuss if Aftermarket exhasts are even worth it.
