MILLIONAIRE BEING INVESTIGATED FOR GOING 'TOO FAST' ON THE AUTOBAHN IN BUGATTI CHIRON

A Millionaire from the Czech Republic is currently being investigated by the German traffic law authorities after posting video footage of himself driving his Bugatti Chiron up to speeds of 417 km/h on the Autobahn.

Now, we know what you must be thinking: How is this possible that he is getting investigated as there is no speed limit on the Autobahn?

And yes, although there might be no speed limit in specific sections of the Autobahn highway, that doesn't necessarily mean that you are free to do whatever you want in whatever car you see fit to do so in.

We have to keep in mind that the Autobahn is still a national public road and safety is still a major concern that is governed by law such as any other public road. The reason why there is no speed limit in specific sections is to aid in helping traffic move more freely and further apart from each other that according to the German road laws is safer. However, when an individual takes advantage of this by driving at whatever speed they can in a hypercar, that is considered reckless driving behaviour and if caught the suspect will face prosecution.

As in this case with the driver of the Bugatti Chiron exceeding speeds of 417 km/h, it is considered reckless driving and the driver faces up to 2 years in prison or a heavy fine.
