MITSUBISHI 4000GT CONCEPT IS LOOKING GOOD!
Talk of a Mitsubishi 4000GT is making the rounds, and the concept is looking incredible.
Its been 21 years since Mitsubishi ended production of the 3000GT and there was no replacement for it since, well, not until now. There have been rumours going around about Mitsubishi re-engineering the concept of the Japanese Grand Tourer sports car in the next two to four years. The New Mitsubishi will probably be called the 4000GT or it will be a continuation of the Mitsubishi GTO name.
The Mitsubishi 3000GT was manufactured from 1991 right up to 1999, and the Japanese sports car featured three engine options which ranged from a 3.0L SOHC V6, a faster 3.0L DOHC V6 as well as the top of the line 3.0L DOHC Twin-turbo, which made an impressive 210Kw (282hp) and 407 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm.
It's been long overdue for Mitsubishi to re-engineer the 3000GT (GTO), however, Mitsubishi has recently brought back the Eclipse which, back in the day, was nothing shy of a sports car that shared the same engine as the Evo! Now, it's a luxury SUV. Will it be the same fate for the 4000GT?
