NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 2 REMASTERED FOR 2022?

A few months ago, EA Games released a remastered version of 2010s Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. Although it was a great game, it left a lot of Need For Speed fans puzzled as to why they decided to put in the time and effort to resurrect that specific one. It's no secret that everyone has been begging for EA Games to remaster either the original Need For Speed Most Wanted, Underground 1 or even Underground 2.

Some argue the fact that a remastered version of Underground 1 and 2 is on the way due to the fact that the original Hot Pursuit came before the Underground series. But, as far as we can tell, that is not going to happen, principally because the remastered Hot Pursuit was a remake of the original in its own right.

With that said, there has been a lot of talk around a remastered version of Need For Speed Underground 2 in the works. Which makes sense as Underground 2 was the Need For Speed that put modern-day street racing games on the map. Underground 1 was undoubtedly a great game, but Underground 2 was on another level – think car customisation, open-world gameplay and killer soundtracks!

Although we aren't able to confirm whether or not the video below is from a legit source, we can imagine how cool it would be if it is!
