THIS KIT CAR HAS A HIGHER POWER TO WEIGHT THANK A BUGATTI VEYRON

YouTube channel, Officially Gassed, experienced a kit car with a higher power to weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron.

Jamie, the host of the YouTube show, Officially Gassed, has experienced a kit car with a higher power to weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron. Yes, it's nuts.

First, we must meet Dave, the owner of the 2013 Ron Champion Locost kit car. As a dedicated petrolhead, Dave likes to go fast. That's why he dropped a CA18DET Nissan 200sx S13 motor into the chassis, with forged pistons and rods. He then added a Garrett GTX2867r Gen II turbo for extra oomph.

The list of other modifications is longer than the car itself. The significant figures, though, include 375bhp and 325lb-ft of torque pushing around 620-kilograms of car.

The suspension, brakes and steering setups are also made up of a variety of custom and aftermarket parts to keep the car stable and under control.

Now, Jamie is not one to display fear. He's spent enough time in plenty of souped-up vehicles, and he's usually excited about their performance. In the Locost, though, that has no windscreen or doors, it's fear that grips him while he becomes accustomed to the sheer power and speed of this crazy kit car.

Check out the video below to see that car in action and to find out more about the kit car with a higher power to weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron.
