BENTLEY STUTTGART CELEBRATES 15 YEARS WITH THE BESPOKE BLACK FOREST REGIONAL COLLECTION
When Bentley Stuttgart decided to mark its 15th anniversary, it went full-on Mulliner. To celebrate a decade and a half of handcrafted luxury in southwest Germany, the British marque’s Stuttgart outpost revealed the Black Forest Regional Collection, a trio of bespoke masterpieces that blend British craftsmanship with German soul. The collection - Bentayga S Black Edition, Continental GT Speed, and Continental GTC Speed - draws inspiration from the mystical Black Forest region, known for its deep emerald canopies, winding roads, and artisanal heritage. Each model captures that atmosphere with meticulous detail, wrapped in Mulliner’s signature touch of perfection. Each of the three models wears an exclusive ‘Scarab’ green exterior, a hue that mirrors the forest’s rich tones when sunlight filters through the trees. Inside, open-pore walnut veneers and warm Beluga leathers bring the outside world in, while contrast stitching and bespoke embroidery in Fern Green and Pillar Box Red add depth and storytelling. Even the treadplates and luggage sets get in on the tribute - handcrafted, embossed, and accented to tie in the Black Forest theme. The attention to detail borders on obsessive, but that’s exactly what makes it a Mulliner creation. Performance isn’t just an afterthought here - each model brings serious muscle beneath the bespoke veneer.
The Bentayga S Black Edition flexes a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 pushing 398 kW and 770 Nm, launching it to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. It’s a super-SUV that looks at mountain passes and thinks, “I was built for this.” The Continental GT Speed represents the cutting edge of Bentley’s evolution - the Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain churns out 560 kW and 1,000 Nm, rocketing to 100 km/h in a supercar-baiting 3.2 seconds. The GTC Speed mirrors that hybrid setup but lets drivers experience it roof-down, merging adrenaline with open-air opulence.
While the Black Forest Regional Collection is steeped in German influence, it’s also a reminder that Bentley’s genius lies in its ability to make the personal feel universal. Each car is handcrafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s in-house coachbuilding division, where storytelling meets engineering - proof that true luxury is more than power figures and paint codes; it’s about connection and context.
Richard Leopold, Regional Director of Bentley Motors Europe, summed it up perfectly: “The Black Forest Regional Collection is a perfect example of how Bentley’s British craftsmanship and regional inspiration come together. It celebrates our 15-year partnership with Bentley Stuttgart, reflecting our shared commitment to creating truly personal and locally resonant expressions of luxury.”
For Christian Wild, General Manager of Bentley Stuttgart, the connection runs even deeper: “The Black Forest has always been part of our identity - it represents craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless beauty, much like Bentley itself. With these special editions, we wanted to give our customers something that feels uniquely theirs - cars that tell a story about where they come from and what inspires them.”
Fifteen years in, Bentley Stuttgart reaffirms the art of blending place, passion, and performance. The Black Forest Regional Collection stands as a rolling reminder that true luxury doesn’t just come from where a car is built, but from what it represents.
