FORD SHOWS OFF ALL NEW FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 ARRIVING IN 2021

Ford shows off it's all-new Ford Mustang Mach 1, which is set to arrive in the spring of 2021.

The Ford Mustang has been a symbol of the ultimate American muscle sportscar since its debut in early 1964, and has been a poster car ever since. Just four years later, much to do with the success of its initial launch, Ford introduced a new version of the Mustang called the "Mach 1", which was a performance-orientated optional package in 1968.

Recently, however, history is set to repeat itself as Ford has announced a brand new Ford Mustang, set to be launched in 2021, which will inherit the legendary Mach 1 performance title!

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 will come with a 480hp 5.0L engine with a 10-speed automatic gearbox, but it has also been confirmed that the Mustang Mach 1 will also be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox for the true old-school Mustang enthusiasts.

On the other hand, automotive manufacturers who resurrect old car name titles are usually playing with fire. Think of the VW Beetle, it was never as successful as the original, nor was the Fiat 500. But, that aside, what about seriously legendary cars like the Toyota Supra. Toyota received serious hate for how they introduced the new Supra, regardless of how good the car is. For Ford's sake, we hope the 2021 Mustang Mach 1 won't suffer the same fate.
