If you want a sparkling engine bay here is a fantastic in-depth guide on how to start cleaning.

You can have the cleanest car out there but don't forget about what's under the hood! You never want to get caught in a situation whereby someone asks to have a look at your engine bay at a car show and it looks like a desert under there! If it does, its time to watch this video.

YouTuber, ChrisFix, has a ton of interesting DIY step-by-step tutorials available on his channel. This one stuck out for us, though, as there isn't a lot of information out there on how to thoroughly clean or detail your engine bay – this one has all the do's and dont's. As we all know, the engine is the most important part of your ride, and by no means do you want to get water in your electronics, sensors, plugs etcetera, ChrisFix shows us the right way in this tutorial.

Whether you drive a 90's Mustang, SUV, 4X4 or a mommy van, this method will work perfectly.

As you will see in the video, you'll need to invest in some basic cleaning products such as trim detailer, soapy water spray, microfibre cloths, different size brushes, and some device to blow/suck air, and then you're good to go.
