MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE: A MODEL RESTORATION
A restoration and full-colour change of this Mitsubishi Eclipse model is very satisfying to watch!
The Mitsubishi Eclipse is has grown to be one of the most iconic JDM cars, yet still maintains an underdog status. The most famous Mitsubishi Eclipse has to be the one from the first Fast and Furious movie. Yup, Paul Walker's car that had a scene at the beginning of the movie in the first drag race, as well as the scene directly after where, sadly, it got shot and blew up.
This model was from 1999, even though the car that blew up was a stunt doubled 1995 Eclipse made to look as similar as possible to the main 1999 Eclipse, which remains to be the most iconic Mitsubishi Eclipse model to date. In 2 Fast 2 Furious, another Eclipse made it to the big screen, it was the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder owned by the character Roman Pearce, played by Tyrese Gibson. There have been a few versions after that, and now the Mitsubishi Eclipse only exists as an SUV.
