JAPAN'S ELITE IN THE GAME OF RESTORATION AND MODIFICATION

Japan's car culture is massive, but there are a few artisans that are legendary for the work they do. From restoration to modification, these polar opposites are Japan's elite.

Many of us know Akira Nakai and his RWB Porsche's, with their enormous wings and ultra-wide wheel-arches, created to look almost comical in proportion. His work is recognised globally and has an almost cult-like following of fans.

On the opposite end of the scale is Tadashi Ando who restores cars to their original condition, rebuilding the motor and hand-crafting every body panel, to the state it was in when it left the showroom floor.

This documentary follows both of these guys and others who all fall into different areas of the spectrum, but who all share a passion for automobiles. So grab yourself a drink, sit back and enjoy the show.
