SAY GOODBYE TO THE GUMPERT APOLLO AND HELLO TO THE APOLLON.

We’ve known for a few months now that the company formerly known as Gumpert is now simply called Apollo. Now under new ownership by a group of Hong Kong investors, Apollo Automobil GmbH will unveil something new next week at Geneva and we’ll be on hand to bring you all the details. But before that happens, the reborn hypercar builder has just released a couple of teaser images of that new piece of bonkers, the ApolloN.

According to the company’s official Facebook page, the ApolloN will be the "fastest road car on the planet. It’s hard to make out many details (hence it being a teaser) but we can see it’s riding on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber. There’s also an achingly beautiful carbon fiber front splitter.

Exciting times ahead!
