The opening line from Top Gear’s latest video, which sees the Ollie Marriage from the UK crew put the biblically insane 820bhp Aston Martin Vulcan around the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Understandably, there is an enormous amount of swearing, and very little of Clarkson, Hammond or May.

Said video starts with the obligatory walk-through of very limited Aston Martin, special attention given to the carbon fibre chassis, the 1350kg kerb weight, THAT rear wing and the 7-litre naturally-aspirated V12 derived from the company’s GT3 racer (we don’t need to tell you how awesome that is going to sound). What you’re all here to see though – namely the on-board lap – starts at 1m 35s.
Top Gear is far from the first to put the new Vulcan around Abu Dhabi’s Grand Prix circuit recently. The Vulcan’s 24 lucky new owners were each invited to test their latest garage fillers, which also included a few laps in both a V12 Vantage S and Aston’s GT4 racer.
