VIDEO: THIS 1927 PARKING TECHNOLOGY IS SIMPLY INSANE!
A great invention from 1927 shows a vehicle parallel parking in Paris. Doesn't sound too amazing until you see how!
Basically, the front wheels twist to enable it to turn within its own length and sidle in and out of any parking place. All you have to do is pull a handle that rotates the front wheels at a 90-degree angle; so the owner of this vehicle was able to do doughnuts nearly 90 years ago – winning!
The video below presents a fascinating manner of parallel parking from the late 1920's and, as you'll see, it doesn't require a great deal of driving or parking skills in order to place a vehicle in the desired spot. Most useful considering how many numpties out there can't even do this today!
The question remains though, why don't vehicle manufacturers use this technology today?
