VIDEO: YOU CAN START YOUR MUSTANG GT WITHOUT MAKING ANY NOISE!

The Ford Mustang is known for its bad-boy image and the ability to wake everyone in the neighbourhood at the wee hours, but not everyone who drives a Mustang wants to be THAT GUY!

Ford has designed the new Good Neighbour Mode on the 2018 Mustang GT, which could come in handy. On the new pony cars, equipped with the variable exhaust system, the feature allows drivers to not only set the exhaust to a quieter mode, but you can also schedule quite start-up times when the neighbourhood is otherwise hushed. With the quite start activated it allows the Mustang GT to drop by 10 decibels, so the car is then at a comfortable 72 decibels, which is about the level of a household dishwasher. 

The feature is activated by the wheel-mounted thumb control on the newly 12-inch instrument cluster or through the settings menu in the standard 4-inch display. Have a look at the video of the Ford Mustang GT's quiet mode, it is a pretty badass feature!
