2017 PORSCHE PANAMERA SPIED LAPPING THE NURBURGRING WITHOUT DISGUISE

The 2017 Porsche Panamera is undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. Spy photographers from our sister site, Autoguide.com have caught the next-generation sports sedan nearly camouflauge-free as it makes its rounds at the world famous track.

Riding on the all-new MSB chassis, the 2017 Porsche Panamera will weigh around 200 pounds lighter than the current model thanks to a mix of high-strength steel, aluminum and composite material. The MSB platform will also be used to underpin the next-generation Bentley Continental range.

In terms of styling, the 2017 Porsche Panamera pulls elements from the Porsche Sport Turismo concept, although the overall shape and profile doesn’t change all too much compared to its predecessor. It is, however, sleeker than the current model.

Expect powertrain options to vary from six- and eight-cylinder mills in addition to a plug-in hybrid variant when the Panamera officially makes its debut.
