2020 JEEP WRANGLER NOW IN DIESEL

The all-new Jeep Wrangler will now be offered as a diesel, called the 'Jeep Wrangler EcoDiesel' in 2020.

When it comes to a car that is capable of tackling pretty much any terrain, whether it be snow, mud or even the Zombie apocalypse, there is no better car than the mighty Jeep Wrangler!

But there has always been a slight problem with these cars, its petrol consumption. Don't get us wrong, the engine has always been a beast with their 3,6L PENTASTAR V6 petrol pushing 209KW and 347NM of torque.

Jeep now has unveiled their new addition to the Jeep Wrangler range, with a newly designed diesel engine titled 'EcoDiesel', which will now offer a significant increase in torque, but in the same breath, a much better fuel consumption.

When it comes to fuel consumption, it has never been such a deciding factor when buying a car as it is in today's day and age. Fuel prices have sky-rocketed and travelling costs now play a big roll in what car to invest in next. Most modern city-runners now offer a diesel option specifically for the better consumption reason.

There is still a huge market for off-roaders such as the Jeep Wrangler. Now, with their new EcoDiesel option, it will interest a much bigger market which will factor out the excessively high fuel consumption of a 3,6L V6 petrol.
