Taking delivery of your next car is always a special moment regardless of whether its secondhand or just a run-of-the-mill daily driver, but YouTuber, Speed Phenom, managed to order a brand new 2020 Shelby GT500 and take delivery, and records the whole experience as you'll see in the video below.
The brand new 2020 Shelby GT500 is the most powerful street-legal vehicle in Ford's history. The 2020 GT500 pushes out 760 horsepower with 625 pound-feet of torque out of its supercharged 5.2L V8 – which means you'll break your neck launching from 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds, that's over a second faster than a 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman!
That all good and well on paper, but how does it keep up with its own power on the track? This GT500 has been equipped with Ford's new dual-clutch gearbox technology which delivers seamless gear changes at just 8 milliseconds per change, and of course, the most satisfying downshift sounds combined with that monster of a V8 under the hood!
