ALFA ROMEO GIULIA QUADRIFOGLIO GTAM – ALFA ROMEO'S SUPERCAR
The brand new and even more brutal Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm cost's an ear-bleeding £155,000, but you do get quite a bit of car for your money.
The Giulia GTAm weighs 40kg less than the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio and, even more impressively, features twice as much downforce. This is largely thanks to its new massive carbon fibre rear wing, clever splitters and side deflectors as well. It too has bigger wheels, fitted with Michelin Pilot Cup 2 rubber straight from the factory, and for the first time ever, features carbon-ceramic brakes. The Giulia Qualrifoglio GTAm still features the same Ferrari-developed V6, but the GTAm has bigger brains now thanks to a new and improved ECU map.
All these elements come together to make the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm quicker...much, much quicker!
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm features a 2.9 litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine, an 8-speed automatic gearbox and produces a whopping 525 bhp and 442 lb-ft of torque, and weighs in at just 1580kg, which is pretty much the same weight as a regular Audi TT. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm will accelerate you from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds, and will reach a top speed of 191mph!
