Aston Martin has released the DBX 707 and claims the title of the fastest SUV on the planet!
You might be thinking that you've already seen all the hype a few years ago on an Aston Martin SUV that will triumph its rivals both in looks and performance and you'd be right, however, that was indeed just a concept, now we have it in the flesh! You might also be wondering what is up with its odd naming, however, the performance-orientated Aston Martin DBX that we have here is not going to be called the DBX-S, as the rumours said, but rather the DBX 707, and no that is not a twisted indirect reference to James Bond, but rather the amount of horsepower that this incredible SUV produces!
Powered by Aston Martins finest 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces the name badge worthy 707 horsepower and an EV-like 900 Nm of torque! The Aston Martin DBX 707 will also accelerate from standstill to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds which is made possible due to its clever 9-speed wet clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system.
As far as the overall design is concerned, we are glad to see that it falls perfectly in line with Aston Martins new brand identity and minimalistic and elegant approach and does not stick out like a sore thumb as in the likes of the Bently Bentayga, Maserati Levante and even the Lamborghini Urus who cater for a special kind of client who is, to put it as mildly as possible, rather flashy!
The Aston Martin DBX 707, on the other hand, is far more forgiving in that respect and its owners are not sacrificing anything by opting for the biggest offering in Aston Martins lineup, after all, it is one of the fastest they offer as well, not to mention the fastest SUV in the world!
