BMW AND PUMA HAVE ANOTHER CLOTHING RANGE INSPIRED BY A 70S RACECAR.

BMW Motorsport and PUMA have had many collaborations in the past creating some amazing clothing and shoes that all the larney BMW owners like to wear. There’s nothing as attractive to the opposite sex (or even the same sex, sexless, and all other pronouns) as someone climbing out of their M4 wearing their best Puma BMW shoes while puffing on a lemon cheesecake vape, and so this collaboration continues with mch access. Modern mating rituals depend on it. The collaboration will continue in 2024 with a whole new collection that will make fashionistas and fans of these brands happy. As is usually the case, the range of clothing and shoes is inspired by a BMW car from the past, usually something quite iconic that proper motorsport fanatics will recognise. Weirdly, the car that serves as inspiration is usually many years older than the people who will be buying the clothes. We’re at least 95 % sure that most people who see this new range in stores and online won’t have a clue as to why the colours and designs were used. Luckily we can help out here. The BMW and Puma people tasked with projects like this have teamed up once again to launch yet another exclusive lifestyle collection. This time around, the range has been inspired by the iconic 1975 BMW Art Car designed by Alexander Calder. Calder, a pivotal figure in American modernism and the creator of the mobile, designed the first-ever BMW Art Car, a BMW 3.0 CSL that raced at Le Mans. Though it didn't finish due to technical issues, its vibrant design captivated audiences, starting a unique tradition that blends art, technology, and racing. Puma is a top brand, as is BMW, so this range isn’t cheap, but with quality and style like this, the goods will sell well and be sought after, as long as new model BMWs and vape juice flavours are being launched, this stuff will have a market.

The new BMW Art Car Capsule Collection pays homage to Calder’s signature style with bold colours and sweeping designs mirroring his work on the BMW 3.0 CSL. This collaboration is the second between BMW M Motorsport and PUMA, following their tribute to Roy Lichtenstein with another standout collection. Every piece in this limited edition collection channels the vivid energy of Calder’s art, creating a full summer ensemble including a shirt, shorts, two T-shirts, a baseball cap, and sneakers, all available separately but those vape fans will surely shop the full set in one go. Check out what’s available.

BMW M MOTORSPORT AC SHIRT: Featuring Calder-inspired colour blocking and his embroidered initials, this shirt combines a sporty vibe with premium details like a PUMA logo and woven BMW M Motorsport labels.

BMW M MOTORSPORT AC SHORTS: Matching the shirt’s bold style, these shorts have an embroidered PUMA logo, a woven BMW M label, an elastic waistband with a drawstring, and a handy side pocket.

BMW M MOTORSPORT AC1 TEE & AC2 TEE: These oversized tees mix urban cool with comfort. The AC1 TEE features a front colour-blocking print inspired by Calder’s design, while the AC2 TEE showcases a large back print and subtle BMW Art Car logos.

BMW M MOTORSPORT AC CAP: This five-panel cap echoes Calder’s color blocking, with a woven BMW M Motorsport logo and an embroidered PUMA logo, finished with an adjustable metal clasp.

BMW M MOTORSPORT AC SNEAKER SUEDE: A fresh take on PUMA’s classic suede sneaker, this predominantly red shoe features PUMA Formstrips, graphic detailing, a PUMA logo badge, and a BMW metal pin.
