CAR MOD TRENDS TO KEEP AN EYE ON IN 2022

Car mod trends come and go as time passes, some stay and last a good couple of decades and some fall away within a year, but regardless of that, here are the top car mod trends to look out for in 2022:

  • Lowing Springs - Yeah, lowing springs. You might be wondering why this would be a trend in 2022 with coilovers and air suspension setups being so popular already, however, more modern cars are coming out with clever suspension setups right from the factory that it would potentially be worse to replace the entire system with aftermarket ones whereby lowering springs keep the design and functionality of the factory setup and keep your car low.
  • Period Correct Builds - As time moves on, more and more people start appreciating older cars that are nothing shy of iconic, however, seeing a 1990s Supra hacked up into a rice bucket is rather depressing, you'll notice that keeping the car period correct in terms of modifications is a trend that is increasing in popularity.
  • Electric Vehicles - Now this is arguably the most controversial one. That of modifying electric vehicles. You might be surprised to know that this has been going on for some time already, we have seen countless stance builds of Tesla's for example, it is only a matter of time until we see the car scene flooded with EV's around the world.
