EV CHARGERS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL NEWLY BUILT HOUSES

The United Kingdom has become the first country in the world to put forward a new housing requirement, that of making it mandatory that each new house built needs to have an EV charger as standard.

With EVs on the rise to take over as our main form of transport globally, it is fundamental that the infrastructure is readily available to everyone. The downside to EVs is the charge times and simply replacing petrol stations with charge points are just never going to be as efficient in terms of time regardless if they are fitted with fast charging units or not. So having each household fitted with an EV charger makes the energy charging process that much more simplified.

Older households on the other hand can simply have one installed when required.
