FULL CARBON IS FOR THE SHEEP - FULL LEGO IS WHERE IT'S AT WITH THE 1:1 SIáN FKP 37

The Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is a work of art that has the best of the Italian automaker’s looks and it also sports that unique Lamborghini soundtrack even though it’s a hybrid EV thanks to that massive 6.5-litre V12 heading up the main power-making duties. Granted the electric motor on board is only good for 25 kW, but it does afford the car an overall total of 602 kW (808 hp). As with most cars from the Italian automaker, they swing more to the rather expensive side of life with a price tag around the $35mil mark, but there is another option available for those wanting a Sián FKP 37 as long as they only want it for the looks and not the driving prowess - the 400 000-piece Lego Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.

This Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is made up of over 400,000 Lego Technic pieces including 154 different types of Lego Technic pieces including 20 that were custom-moulded especially for this. The build took a team of 15 people 8 660 hours to complete, 5,370 of those went to development with 3,290 hours of production. For the first time, a Lego model was given a paint-effect coating with official Automobili Lamborghini paint - which is awesome and leads us to assume the car will never be disassembled. The dimensions of the model are exactly the same as the road car, and the front and rear lights work even being made entirely from LEGO Technic pieces. The Lego Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 tips the scales at 2 200 kg, a good 700 kg more than the real car.

“Our designers love challenges, so you can imagine how delighted they were when we asked them to work on this model and look at things in a slightly bigger way than usual. They leaped at the chance to work with the incredible designers and engineers from our production workshop at the Kladno factory in the Czech Republic, who build these stunning full-scale models, and really pushed back the boundaries of what can be done with LEGO Technic. Thanks to the scope for creativity provided by the system, they’ve truly done justice to the exceptional design of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 LEGO Technic.” - Lena Dixen, Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing at the LEGO Group.

“After a wait of more than a year, the LEGO Technic model of the Lamborghini Sián is going on show at Museo Automobili Lamborghini. It’s the natural place to display the Lamborghini super sports cars that have always given dreams and feelings concrete forms thanks to innovation and technology. This 1:1 scale model of the Sián shows that Lamborghini – just like LEGO Group – sees challenges as its lifeblood, technology as a means of creation, and design as a linchpin that can and must take people’s breath away,” stated Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Automobili Lamborghini.

Take a look at the YouTube Short showing the all-Lego Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, a much cheaper option than the real deal but with the price of Lego cheaper is far from affordable to the masses: You might have seen Sián FKP 37, but have you seen it in… LEGO form? | Lamborghini
