GEORGE RUSSELL GET'S MERCEDES SEAT FOR 2022 AND VALTTERI BOTTAS TO ALFA ROMEO

Just at the end of last week, we heard that Formula 1 racing legend Kimi Rikonnen filed for retirement and 2021 will be his last year in the sport. And since then, we have learned of some new and rather jaw-dropping changes from drivers switching teams for 2022.

First of all, we have Valtteri Bottas who had 2 options for 2022 and that was Alfa Romeo or the lower division Mercedes-supported Williams Racing team, but without the blink of an eye, Bottas went with Alfa Romeo.

Then we have the British upcoming champion, George Russell who currently races for Williams and has proven he is worthy for a top team, well as it stands, George Russell has officially been offered a seat in his dream team, Mercedes AMG, for 2022.
