INTRODUCING THE ROSSO CORSA LAFERRARI APERTA

A stunning Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta finished in a Rossa Corsa coat, has been unveiled at Melbourne's Motorclassica. Although deliveries of the drop-top hybrid hypercar commenced in late 2016, this is the first example to hit Australian roads. The hypercar was flown in from Europe and is one of the nine LaFerrari Aperta's which the Italian marque is using for promotional purposes around the globe.

Only 201 examples of the Aperta are bound for the hands of customers, and last month the final example was auctioned off for charity for a staggering $9.98 million (US).

The LaFerrari Aperta features a 6.3-liter V12 engine delivering 789 horsepower. That blistering engine is mated to an electric motor that bumps power to 950 horsepower which is enough to launch the hypercar to 100km/h in under 3 seconds and through to a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.

There is at least one LaFerrari Aperta that has been sold to an Australian customer but without a special permit, it can’t be driven on local roads.
