MANHART GETS IT'S PAWS ON THE G87 BMW M2 - THE MH2 700 II IS THE RESULT.

Here at SXdrv, we’re big fans of MANHART and their over-the-top builds. The renowned German tuner has a knack for creating standout upgrade packages, particularly for modern German cars, which makes sense given their location. MANHART also dabbles in the world of restomods, blending classic car nostalgia with cutting-edge components to deliver the ultimate hybrid of old-school charm and modern performance. This time, MANHART has turned its attention to the already impressive BMW M2, the most recent G87 version - a car that’s fast becoming a favourite among enthusiasts straight out of the factory. But when MANHART gets involved, you can expect the transformation to range from minor tweaks to a full-blown overhaul to something that makes you have to swallow some upchuck. Known for their meticulous engineering, MANHART doesn’t just focus on visual upgrades; they also dive under the hood to unlock more power, all while ensuring reliability with options like warranties. Whether you want a complete MANHART build or just select components to fit yourself, they cater to a wide range of customers worldwide. Enter the MANHART MH2 700 II, a hyper-tuned version of the G87 BMW M2 that takes performance and style to a whole new level. Under the hood, MANHART extracts an astonishing 728 hp (535 kW) and 900 Nm of torque from the 3.0-litre S58 twin-turbo inline-six powerplant. This monumental power bump is achieved through a combination of a carbon intake system, a choice of the MHtronik powerbox or custom remapping, and a stainless steel valved exhaust system. Depending on the market, customers can opt for setups that meet road approval requirements or go all-in with race-spec exhaust components.

To ensure this power is matched by handling prowess, MANHART offers KW coilovers or KW Variant 4 coilovers for improved agility and a lower stance. The MH2 700 II rides on striking Yido rims - 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear - with customizable finishes to suit individual tastes. The braking system remains factory-spec but can be upgraded upon request, while the callipers are finished in a unique champagne hue. Visually, the MH2 700 II is a rolling work of art. MANHART has decked out the M2 with a suite of carbon fibre add-ons, including a front apron, side skirts, bonnet, kidney grille inserts, diffuser, rear wing, and underbody panels by Alpha-N. A champagne-coloured MANHART decal set enhances the car’s aggressive yet refined look. Inside, MANHART continues the transformation with motorsport-inspired upgrades. The cabin now features a roll bar, rear seat delete cover, Schroth harness belts with tensioners, and custom MANHART floor mats. The overall package is impressive, and we do like how everything looks, but that array of gold accents is a little odd. I mean it works, but it would probably look much better dropping all of them besides the ones on the spokes and the roll cage. A combination of the optional parts from BMW M Performance and the upgrades on offer from MANHART will result in one properly good-looking and massively fast BMW, which is how we’d create our theoretical G87 that will turn into reality when those pesky six numbers eventually line up, along with the bonus ball.

Take a look at the YouTube video that details the latest creation from the House of MANHART, a settled G87 BMW M2 with carbon fibre everywhere. In typical MANHART fashion, it's not to everyone's taste, but it is pretty cool-ish.
