NEW NEED FOR SPEED SET FOR 2021

Take a look at the first teaser of the next Need For Speed, set for release in 2021.

This teaser release of a new Need For Speed, which is set to be released in 2021, came as a bit of a surprise as the previous game, Need For Speed Heat, was only released a few months ago. However, there seems to be a plausible explanation for this.

A video surfaced a few days ago of what looked like a heavily modified Nissan 240SX S13 and a Porsche 911. At first glance of the teaser video, you'll find yourself questioning if you are looking at real cars! But then the video flips between the development pre-render and final outcome. If this is what graphics we can expect for the next Need For Speed game, then we should all be very excited!

There has been talk and various leaks regarding the successor to Need For Speed Heat. The main difference is that Need For Speed will, from now forward, be developed under another gaming software company called Criterion Software, which has made Need For Speed games in the past, such as the 2010 Hot Pursuit. Hot Pursuit was indeed a fantastic Need For Speed, and was the inspiration for the Need For Speed movie. However, this raises huge concerns of the next game being restricted with modifications and tuner cars like their previous games were.

But with the Nissan 240ZX S13 in the teaser video, it should lower your stress levels a bit!
