THE LARTE PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 992.2 IS A SCULPTED SYMPHONY OF SPEED AND SOUL - PROPERLY EPIC!
When Italy and Germany team up, you know something special’s about to happen - unless it’s a footy match. The latest project from Larte Design proves it - a custom-built 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera (992.2 facelift) that fuses race-bred aggression with artistic precision. It’s not just a body kit; it’s emotion sculpted in carbon fibre. Born between Turin and Germany, this one-off 911 blends Italian flair and German discipline into something that’s both timeless and modern. Thousands of hours went into reinterpreting a motorsport icon, transforming it into a street-legal sculpture that looks just as potent standing still as it does devouring tarmac. Larte’s designers opened the Porsche history books when designing this rather tasty visual upgrade. The inspiration? Al Holbert’s 1974 Carrera RSR 3.0, a legend of the Trans-Am series whose blue-and-yellow #14 livery became a symbol of pure competition. Rather than recreate that iconic look, Larte reimagined its spirit - a blend of vintage motorsport charisma and modern urban muscle.
Chief Designer Brano Mauks (of Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta, Ferrari Sergio, and Pininfarina heritage fame) puts it best: “Timeless motorsport DNA, re-sculpted for today. In the Porsche 911 992.2 project, we sought to highlight the 911’s performance and design - enhancing its form and function without disturbing its soul.”
In true Italian fashion, it all starts with sketches - drawn by hand in Larte’s Turin studio, where proportion meets passion. From there, clay models evolve into CAD precision, ensuring every curve and crease earns its place.
While the creative spark comes from Italy, the craftsmanship happens in Germany - at facilities that also produce carbon components for Porsche, Bugatti, and other elite marques. This is OEM-grade artistry with motorsport credibility. Each Larte component is engineered to mount directly to factory points, maintaining the integrity of the 911’s structure.
Highlights include:
Materials: 100% pre-preg carbon fibre or basalt composite.
Finishes: Exposed matte or gloss carbon, or colour-matched paint.
Tech: Autoclave curing and vacuum infusion - the same processes used in F1 and aerospace.
Certification: TÜV approved for quality and safety.
Every component of the Larte Edition kit serves a purpose and tells a story:
3D Hood with Air Outtakes: Lightweight and expressive, setting the tone up front.
Front Splitter: Adds stability and visual bite.
Sculpted Side Panels: Stretch the profile into something sleeker and more dynamic.
Rear Diffuser: Adds depth, new exhaust tips, and vertical LED accents - a Larte signature.
Rear Wing and Spoiler: The final flourish that turns the silhouette into motion.
Vertical Exhaust Tips: Precision-machined jewellery for the rear end.
Each piece fits perfectly, no cutting or drilling required. It’s plug-and-play precision - all shipped in Larte’s signature wooden crates. Larte lets owners choose between two ultra-high-end materials, each with its own personality:
Carbon Fibre: The icon. Lightweight, strong, and unapologetically sporty - its weave under gloss or matte clear coat is pure visual power.
Basalt Composite: A more understated alternative, derived from natural volcanic rock. It offers deep gloss and unique resilience - elegance with muscle.
As Mauks explains, “This premium Porsche 911 by Larte Design merges sporty performance, proud heritage, and a design that sets new standards. The silhouette remains pure 911, while the sculptural details amplify its presence and performance.”
