For most people, simply seeing the cars on this list is unlikely, nevermind actually owning one! Let's take a look at the most expensive cars of 2018.

Living in a third-world country at the bottom of the African continent doesn't afford many citizens the opportunity to see most of the cars on this list in the flesh. Which sucks for us petrolheads. Occasionally, though, someone with a few extra pennies in their bank account splashes out and imports one or two to the shores of sunny South Africa and it's a real treat catching a glimpse of them, even just once.

For those of you in the first world, this might happen more often but, in truth, very few ordinary people will ever have the opportunity to customise your own supercar and, thus, we live vicariously through those who do.
