We know 4x4ing isn't everyone's cup of tea but, for those of us who dig it (sometimes quite literally), it can be a load of fun.

And, that fun doesn't just happen when things go well, sometimes the best memories we have are actually of recovering a vehicle after that one dumb friend of yours managed to get it properly stuck.

But, then there are those times when things go really wrong. And that's very seldom a good thing.

Simple issues like getting bogged down in the mud can soon turn nasty and leave one of the vehicles without a bumper. Other times a misjudged body of water can mean a deeper swim than what your Ford F150 can handle, and let's not forget those rocky roll-overs which almost always leave a mark.
