THE NEW VOLKSWAGEN ID4 MIGHT BE THE BEST ALL-ROUNDED ELECTRIC CAR
Like Tesla, the Volkswagen-produced ID3 proved to the world that electric cars don't have to be boring or unfairly priced to hop onto the EV train. Unlike Tesla, Volkswagen is a rather trusted and well-known car brand and manufacturer that has been around for decades.
Volkswagen has now unveiled the all-new ID4 that is not ludicrous in power output, not overly sporty nor is it expensive for what you get. Volkswagen had a family car in mind for the ID4 and they have hit the nail on the head with this one.
From the $50,000 price tag, you will get yourself a 77.0 kWh battery that offers around 255 miles per single charge with a 300 Wh/mi efficiency rating. The Volkswagen will reach 0 - 62 miles per hour in 8.5 seconds, like your average VW Polo and reach a top speed of 99 miles per hour from its 150 kW (201 hp) engine.
