THE NILU27 HAS ARRIVED IN ALL IT'S 1,000 HP V12 STREAMLINED GLORY!

Nilu27, founded by Sasha and Inna Selipanov, is set to revolutionize the automotive world over the next decade, starting with the launch of their first vehicle: the V12-powered NILU hypercar. This stunning machine defies modern trends by rejecting electrification and digital aids, instead offering a raw, pure driving experience inspired by the golden eras of motorsport, classic Italian design, and the no-nonsense philosophy of Bauhaus. Sasha’s vision for the NILU was to create something that feels both fresh and familiar, a car with an "inevitable" design that marries tight, aerodynamic lines with a lean, functional form. The result is a masterpiece of engineering and artistry, where every curve serves a purpose, and the exposed, intricately detailed engine bay celebrates the mechanical beauty at its core. The NILU’s chassis is a bespoke creation, featuring a carbon fibre monocoque paired with lightweight aluminium-alloy tubular subframes. This design choice not only enhances the vehicle’s structural integrity but also allows for easy access to drivetrain components and efficient heat extraction, further emphasizing the car’s mechanical aesthetic. Inside, the NILU cabin is a study in minimalist design, with manual controls and a focus on driver engagement. The steering wheel is perfectly round, and free of distractions like buttons or switches, while the seven-speed manual transmission features an open-gate design, adding a tactile element to the driving experience. The entire cockpit is devoid of digital displays, save for a rearview camera, reinforcing the car’s commitment to an analogue, driver-focused interface. At the heart of the NILU hypercar is a 6.5-litre, 80-degree V12 engine, developed in collaboration with Hartley Engines in New Zealand.

This naturally aspirated powerhouse delivers over 1,000 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful engines of its kind. The engine’s large bore and short stroke design enable it to rev with electric motor-like speed, while still providing the visceral, tactile vibrations that define the driving experience. Key to the NILU’s engine design is its unique "Hot V" configuration, where the exhaust and intake positions are swapped, allowing for improved packaging, heat extraction, and the creation of the visually striking “snakepit” 12-into-1 exhaust headers. These headers, 3D-printed in Inconel, are a defining feature of the car’s exterior. Nelson Hartley, founder and CEO of Hartley Engines, commented, "We’ve been quietly working on this engine for years, drawing inspiration from late ’80s and early ’90s Formula 1 cars. Sasha’s vision for NILU gave us the perfect project to bring our ideas to life. This engine isn’t a modified OEM; it’s a bespoke, large-bore, short-stroke monster with aggressive cams, port flow, and exotic materials. We want every start and rev to send chills down your spine. We’re incredibly excited about what we’ve created." The NILU hypercar’s suspension system is equally impressive, featuring a double wishbone, pushrod setup with extremely long wishbones visible from the rear, contributing to its precise and responsive handling. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres, sized 265/35 R20 at the front and 325/30 R21 at the rear, mounted on in-house designed centre-lock wheels produced by AppTech in Italy. The braking system is provided by Brembo, with custom white GT | BM calipers and the highest-performance CCM-R Plus rotors, ensuring exceptional stopping power and fade resistance.
