THE PORSCHE X DAVID GUETTA SPEED OF LIGHT COLAB IS AN ELECTRIFYING WAY TO KICK OFF A CAMPAIGN

Porsche has always been synonymous with pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation, but now, the German automaker has taken things to a whole new level - by teaming up with one of the most influential DJs and music producers of all time, David Guetta. The result is a high-energy campaign set in the stunning and futuristic Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park near Dubai, featuring the latest Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT, an electrifying soundtrack, and an equally electrifying light show. The collaboration is centered around a Future Rave remix of Guetta’s smash hit ‘Titanium,’ paired with jaw-dropping laser visuals that bring the performance and the setting to life. The solar park, one of the largest of its kind in the world, spans an impressive 127 square kilometers and houses over two million solar modules. The striking 263-meter solar power tower within the facility became Guetta’s temporary DJ booth, serving as the perfect backdrop for a campaign that fuses music, technology, and sustainability in an unforgettable way.

“This collaboration is one of those things you dream of as a kid,” said Guetta. “Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance, and pushing the limits, just like my music. Being part of this project has truly inspired me.”

David Guetta’s involvement in this project is no coincidence. The French DJ has been a trailblazer in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene for decades, continuously reinventing himself and shaping the industry. With global hits like ‘Titanium,’ ‘Without You,’ ‘When Love Takes Over,’ ‘Memories,’ and ‘Hey Mama,’ Guetta has dominated dance floors and festival main stages worldwide. His signature ability to blend pop sensibilities with hard-hitting electronic beats has cemented his status as one of the most influential figures in modern music.

Guetta’s pioneering role in the ‘Future Rave’ movement - a genre he co-created alongside Danish DJ MORTEN - aligns perfectly with the ethos of Porsche’s latest electric vehicles: forward-thinking, powerful, and boundary-breaking. The campaign’s energy is amplified by the cutting-edge laser light effects, which pulse and flash in sync with the beat, visually mirroring the raw performance of the featured Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT. Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE is leveraging this collaboration to highlight the two latest all-electric models in its lineup. The Macan Turbo, leading the charge in Porsche’s second-generation electric SUV offerings, delivers up to 470 kW and a monstrous 1,130 Nm of torque. The result? A blistering 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h. Meanwhile, the Taycan Turbo GT takes things up a notch as the most powerful production Porsche of all time, with a peak output of over 810 kW in its Weissach package-equipped variant. This version has already made headlines by setting lap records on four continents, most recently at Brazil’s Interlagos Circuit.

“Dubai is a city that never stops surprising. The solar park is an incredible location, and not many people know about it. That’s when we thought - it’s perfect for Porsche as it aligns with our clear path toward sustainability,” said Dr. Manfred Bräunl, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE.

The campaign isn’t just about the main film, though. Three ‘Making of’ episodes will accompany the launch, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how this ambitious project came to life. These episodes dive into the cutting-edge technology behind the filming, the collaboration with David Guetta, and the fascinating details of the solar park itself. All films will be available in the Porsche Newsroom and across the brand’s social media channels.
