VIDEO: KOENIGSEGG AGERA RS IS THE WORLD'S FASTEST COMMERCIAL CAR!

The Koenigsegg attempted to break the World Production Speed Record by taking to a piece of perfectly straight and beautifully smooth road in Nevada. The Agera RS broke its own record, hitting 457 km/h, and completing the feat in just 33.29 seconds – that time is about 20% quicker than the Bugatti Chiron could achieve. 

The video shows two of the three runs, the other run was in the opposite direction in order to obtain an average. 

The owner of the Agera RS is very keen to verify the car's performance in comparison to other manufacturers, and this run was a great opportunity to do so. 

The Agera RS used for the 0-457 km/h run is destined for delivery in the United States, it features a 1MW engine, providing 1,360 horsepower and 1,371Nm of torque. The car is also equipped with Koenigsegg's optional and removable roll cage.
