VIDEO: SEE THE FORD GT'S AMAZING AERO PACKAGE AT WORK DURING WIND TUNNEL TESTING

The new Ford GT's dramatic looks are all down to a range of extreme and very much functional aero devices. With that in mind, it's fascinating to see how the air flows over the GT during wind tunnel testing.

There are multiple bits of aero design you can see at work here. Firstly, there’s the active rear wing, which when retracted can give extra downforce, as well as having the ability to tilt and act as an air brake. There’s the moveable flap at the front that dictates how much air is sent to the rear diffuser, and we also get a good look at the flying buttresses which aid airflow to the clever wing.
